Our experiences shape us and how we see the world.  If you’re carrying the weight of past trauma, struggling with anxiety, or feeling stuck in painful relationship patterns, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Many of my clients are thoughtful, high-functioning individuals who often appear composed on the outside while privately carrying anxiety, stress, self-doubt, or emotional exhaustion. They’re often used to being the one others rely on, the capable professional, the caregiver, the achiever, and may struggle to give themselves permission to slow down, feel deeply, or ask for support.

Therapy can be a space to step out of survival mode and reconnect with yourself in a more honest, grounded way. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented, grounded in attachment-based, trauma-informed care. Drawing from cognitive, somatic, and relational approaches, I help clients explore not only their symptoms, but the deeper experiences and beliefs shaping how they relate to themselves and others.

I bring curiosity, compassion, and practical tools into the work, helping you move toward greater emotional balance and a stronger connection to who you are beneath the expectations.

Together, we’ll work to understand the roots of what’s keeping you stuck while building greater emotional resilience, self-trust, and connection. I believe meaningful change happens when we can gently soften old protective patterns without losing sight of your strengths.

You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out for support. Healing begins by creating space for yourself, perhaps for the first time in a long time.

If you’re curious whether this approach feels right for you, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can connect and see if we’re a good fit.

Background:

I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 24242) with nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field.

I grew up abroad, where I developed a deep sense of curiosity, cultural appreciation, and a spirit of adventure. These early experiences continue to shape my perspective and inform my work with clients from diverse backgrounds. I strive to create meaningful, authentic connections and to meet each client where they are emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

In my early twenties, I served in AmeriCorps (often described as the domestic Peace Corps), supporting underserved communities near the San Diego–Mexico border. I later moved to Los Angeles to earn my Master of Social Work (MSW) from UCLA.

Since then, I have worked at Providence Saint John’s Hospital, where my work has focused on supporting children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and acculturative stress. Over time, my work expanded to include parents, helping them address their own trauma, mental health challenges, and intergenerational patterns. This work supports deeper connection within families and fosters greater emotional regulation.

I am dedicated to helping individuals compassionately explore their attachment patterns and relationship experiences, fostering deeper self-awareness, meaningful connections, and a stronger sense of belonging within themselves and with others.

Clarity. Connection. Growth.
